A State of the Art Facility with an Experienced, Devoted Staff
The expanded center is a 4000 square foot state of the art facility with an experienced staff devoted to the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of the eye health and vision problems of patients of all ages. The new building provides full handicap accessibility and handicapped parking. Slide away exam chairs and specialized equipment allow for the comfortable and complete examination of patients with wheelchairs or other mobility aids. A pair of true twenty foot exam lanes combined with computerized equipment assist the doctors in determining the most accurate eyeglass prescriptions possible.
The adult waiting area features a flat screen patient entertainment center. Children receive special care with their own waiting/activity room. Individualized children’s eye exams and a separate children’s optical dispensary with over 400 eyeglass frames are also available. The entire optical dispensary fills approximately 1000 square feet of the building. It consists of adult eyewear, children’s eyewear, prescription and nonprescription sunwear, safety glasses, and sports eyewear. With over 1500 frames on display, it is one of the largest eyewear selections ever assembled in Nelson County.
